On 1 & 3 I will essentially agree with you. RE #2. We are all harmed by illegal immigration on some way. Whether it be the skewing lower of the wage scale, higher crime or decreased tax base all of us are feeling in impact of illegals. "skewing lower of the wage scale" how does this harm US citizens? The jobs illegal immigrants often do are ones many US citizens wouldn't even consider doing and they would rather collect welfare checks. The higher crime thing is a fear tactic argument. There are a number of law enforcement studies indicating working illegal immigrants possibly have a lesser or equal percentage of crimes committed as do US citizens. "decreased tax base" working illegal immigrants have taxes taken out of their checks just like other US citizens. Plus some of the money they earn goes back into our economy with purchases of daily use items like food. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

as a green care holder, i do not support illegal immigration...if they wanna come to this county, there is always a way to do so legitimately i did my green card process in late 1980's and it took me over 1000 dollar along with completely physical and submitted my asset statement so i won't be a burden to the county.) if they are coming to this country illegally, either doing a low wage work or over staying after their visas run out or what ever, they still need to be documented, to know who is in this country...we should give them a time frame to apply for them to stay but after that, they ought to pay up the fine or straighten up their condition...i am not all for automatic deporting, but something got to be done...
